The last 89 weeks have been a whirlwind. Just a little under 2 years of pretty intensive study before I enter the world of graphic design professionally. Like anyone, I've had ups and downs. Did I learn from the times I was down? I'd like to think I did.
But truly some of the most rewarding parts of this program are the people I've gotten to know. And now fortunately call friends. Had I stayed isolated in my little circle and not taken this leap to go back to school, I wouldn't have met these colorful, brilliant, and engaging people over this last year and half. They've pushed me and encouraged me when I needed it. I think, I hope I did the same for them. They were also able to tell me when I was wrong and needed to take a step back. I'm pretty confident I did that for them.
It's weird realizing I'm not going to sit and work next to these people again the way I have been. But I take comfort in knowing that when I need advice, critique, or just a cup of coffee and speak in movie quotes, they aren't that far away.
Thanks everyone. It's been a wild ride.
